Pedagogical Tools like Books – Exercise copybooks – Sets for (Pencil – Pen – Highlighter – Markers- Colour crayons – Set of Colouring materials – Eraser – Pencil sharpener – Rulers – Maths Sets ) Note books – Drawing books – Drawing pads – Sketch Pads – Canvas and other school materials needs depending of Classes demand, are given to beneficiaries.
School materials & Pedagogical tools are given to the beneficiaries in the month of December during the End of year Social gathering organised for this purpose by the Presidential education trust – Trustees and Copa Board members.
School uniforms – Tracksuits – Rain coats – School bags – Shoes and Socks – School Sweaters – Caps and Spectacles ( in needed by beneficiaries ) are sponsored and distributed to beneficiaries , once or twice yearly depending on the needs of our beneficiaries.
In addition, Copa have well defined and elaborated programs in its Container at Vuillemin for Support Classes for beneficiaries of Grade One to Six Primary Level and Prevocational.
Snacks and refreshment are budgeted and given to beneficiaries attending Classes in the Container as stipulated in the Time Table (List of Teachers and Support Classes Schedule)
As for Secondary level Private Tuitions are sponsored for the beneficiaries who needs additional support as Private tuitions for specific subjects like Maths – English – French and Accounts.
Music Classes are run for beneficiaries acquiring music skills and offering to them an entertainment as learning a secondary skill and for their psychological health.
Rodrigues Program is a different kind of approach. Support classes are handled by the Community Schools , Araucaria and Anse Quitore two regions that are registered by COPA for sponsorship , Hot Meal provisions daily helped attendance issues and motivated the Rodrigues Beneficiaries for learning , Psychologists are following case to case students having family – Social or environmental dilemma at the cost of the Rodrigues Commission of Education .
Once or twice, a year Project Visit are made to Rodrigues to monitor the programs.
